8/63 Causeway carrying Eccleston approach drive, south of Eccleston Lodge
GV II
Causeway, c.1875 or earlier, carrying Eccleston Approach Drive over small dell by side of River Dee. Ashlar yellow sandstone with round-headed arched balustrading in panels between square piers. Quadrant wing walls at each end terminate in square piers capped by stone balls. The style of the causeway suggests that it possibly dates from the early C19.
