9/82 Retaining Walls and Paired Flights of Steps at east end of Central Terrace

Retaining Wall and Steps, 1911, by Detmar Blow for 2nd Duke of Westminster. Grey stone and red sandstone. The central portion forms a sinuous curve, flanked at each side by a quadrant flight of broad cobbled steps leading down to the Broad Walk. The outer portions of the wall, left and right of the steps, in red sandstone, project.
