SJ 37 SE LEDSHAM C.P. THE VILLAGE (West Side)
4/9 Barn 50m north of Court Farmhouse.
GV II
Barn: later C16/early C17 but rewalled Cl9. Red sandstone plinth, English garden wall bond orange brick. Corrugated iron roof. Rectangular 3-bay plan now reduced by 1 bay. South side has a pair of board doors under a wooden lintel. Right gable end is boarded. Interior: 2 pairs of very triangular full crucks. Tiebeam, projecting to former wall plate, collar, and sprockets carrying trenched purlins.
C20 shippon added as an east range is of no special interest.
