SJ 98 NW ADLINGTON C.P. WOOD LANE EAST 3/46 Canal bridge no. 19. GV II Canal bridge: C1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company. Hammer-dressed buff sandstone. Horseshoe elliptical arch. Chamfered coping at road level. Plain parapet with rounded coping ends in square pilasters. The standard bridge on this canal and there are 6 other complete examples in Adlington (q.v.). Listing NGR: SJ9363580993
