House: late C16/early C17 with C18 brickwork. Major sympathetic reconstruction underway when viewed. Timber framed with wattle and daub infill on ashlar and rubble plinth. Facade in English garden wall bond brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof. L-shaped plan of small hall and solar. Much of original timber framing intact. Left side has a 5-light wood mullioned window with a coved overhang in a gabled dormer.
Interior: Chamfered firebeam on chamfered heckpost. Chamfered ceiling beams with a flat stop. Solar had fireplace with wattle and daub hood of which traces remain. Tiebeam and collar roof trusses.
