Toll Cottage. c.1780. Red English garden wall bond brick having slate roof with lead flashings. Single storey. Entrance front: Canted bay at right with cambered headed door to centre and cambered headed windows of 3 x 4 sash panes to angles. Canted hipped roof over. Recessed bay at left with cambered headed window of 3 x 4 sash panes. Central ridge chimney stack. Right hand reveal: Canted bay at left (a continuation of left hand bay on entrance front which is thus a 3/4 octagon with blank wall at centre and 3 x 4 pane sash at right hand angle and at left as described). Recessed blank wall at right.
