SJ 87 NE PRESTBURY C.P. THE VILLAGE (West Side) 5/203 The Legh Arms Hotel 25/7/1952 GV II Hotel: late Cl6 with C18 additions and subsequent alterations. Some timber framing, the larger part in washed brick, Kerridge stone-slate roof and stone ridge. 3 brick chimneys. Original portion is of rectangular H-plan of 2-storeys and 4 bays. End bays are gabled, one to right with timber herringboning. Windows now a mixture of casements with glazing bars, some with brick relieving arches. Left end bay has an added hood, 2 bays to left later addition with casements with glazing bars and a Georgian style bow window. Listing NGR: SJ8997676898
