3/119 Brook House Farmhouse
II
Formerly farmhouse now house: C17 with major addition early C19. Part of the house is timber framed on a sandstone base with some plastered and some brick infill. Remainder of house rendered brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof and 4 brick chimneys. North gable end shows 5 by 3 timber small frames with angle braces to tiebeam. 2 C20 wooden casements. Exposed roof truss of tiebeam, 2 diagonal braces with collar above and through purlins. 4 by 3 timber frames to the sides.
