SJ 97 SE MACCLESFIELD FOREST C.P. FOREST ROAD (South Side)
5/100 Parish boundary stone 100m north-east of Clough House.

Parish boundary stone: dated 1822. Semi-circular headed sandstone block with a well-cut "M 1822" (for Macclesfield) on the east face.
There are other identical stones showing the Macclesfield boundary between Macclesfield Forest (2) and Rainow (2) (q.v.).
Part of this stone is in the former Macclesfield Urban District.
