5/101 Parish boundary stone 10m north of Clough House.

Parish boundary stone: dated 1822. Semi-circular headed sandstone block with a well-cut "M 1822" (for Macclesfield on the south face).
There are other identical stones showing the Macclesfield boundary between Macclesfield Forest (2) and Rainow (2) (q.v.).
Part of this stone is in the former Macclesfield Urban District.
