Woodside Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse: early C17 with C18 additions and alterations and major C20 renovation. Partly timber-framed with brick nogging, partly English garden wall bond red brick, on sandstone plinth. Welsh slate roof, 2 brick chimneys. T-shaped gable-entry, 2-roomed house, now extended. East front shows 7 by 3 timber small frames with angle bracing of the wall plate. Right end projects under gable. All windows now C20 casements with glazing bars. West front in brick.
Interior: Has ovolo-moulded ceiling beams in downstairs rooms. Heck-post and firebeam in hall. A board door with L-shaped hinges.
