Farmhouse, of late C17 origins but late C19 appearance. Old brown bricks, slate and tile roof coverings. 2 storey and attic, 3 bays with added later bay north. 2-and-3-light flush casements with glazing bars, stone heads and blue brick sills. Added gabled brick porch with half-glazed door and Tudor arch shaped lintel. Projecting brick plinth with blue brick weathered top course and projecting band at first floor level. Gable end and intermediate stacks. Interior: Bevelled beams, wide boarded doors. At attic level timbers in internal walls, old purlins, ridgetree, wind braces and rafters.
