The following Building shall be added:- SJ 55 NE ALPRAHAM SHROPSHIRE UNION CANAL
233/4/11 Stable block at Bunbury Locks
GV II
Stable block now a boat building workshop. Mid C19 with C20 alterations. Brick with plain tile roof with 6 C20 ventilators. Single storey, 20 bays, consisting 7 doorways with plank stable doors, each flanked by single 4-light windows. All openings are cambered arched and have stone sills. Doors have stone mountings for hinges and catches. Large C20 retractable door in south east gable end wall. Forms part of an important group of canal buildings. Scheduled ancient monument Ches. 99.
