Description
DODCOTT CUM WILKESLEY C.P. ROYALS GREEN SJ 64 SW 7/36 The Royals Farmhouse
GV II Farmhouse. Late C18/early C19. Red Flemish bond brick with plain tile roof. Three storeys. Entrance front: three bays symmetrically disposed. Central ½-glazed C19 door with gabled porch before. To either side are 3-light casement windows with stone sills and flat-arched heads. Two similar lateral windows to the first floor with a similar 2-light window at centre. Similar arrangement to the second floor, the windows there being of lesser height. Hipped roof, with massive chimney stacks to either side. Left hand side has similar compressed three-bay arrangement, the right hand 2 bays being blind.
