1 1425 HIGH STREET (West Side) Nos 42 and 44 sJ 6552 1/98.a 19.4.48. II GV 2. C16-C17. Timber framed and plaster infilling, painted black and white; 2 storeys plus attic; 2 gables to street with restored barge boards; overhanging attics with carved corbels; 2 C19 canted bay windows with leaded lights to lst storey; slates. Late C19 shop fronts with modern fenestration. Probably built after tie Great Fire of 1583. Nos 42 to 52 (even) form a group. Listing NGR: SJ6509852316
