2/14 Sundial in St Boniface's Churchyard 10m to south

Sundial 1740 (on bronze plate) Red sandstone, turned baluster-shaped pillar sitting on two-stepped square base. The upper step is cavetto moulded and the base of the pillar has a square plinth. The pillar has a cyma recta profile with a small bead in the neck. The projecting top of the sundial has a calibrated bronze plate and a pointer, the plate is also inscribed with the date and the names John Davies, Roger Perry and S Young.
