The south gable entrance is a pair of 2-panel doors, in recessed doorcase with stained glass radial bar fanlight above. The gable facade and side elevations have tall, narrow, sashes with glazing bars and semi-circular heads. The door and windows in the facade have moulded stone heads with imposts and keystones. The wooden pediment, with consoles to eaves, apex and raking cornice, is closed by a slender stone band. The tympanum of the pediment contains a stone tablet inscribed Jubilee Primitive Methodist Chapel with the date. Interior: The reredos is an arcade of 3 semi-circular arches with fluted pilasters and imposts. This is surmounted by a recessed gallery opening with turned balusters and moulded handrail. The space above the rail is filled by a pair of horizontally sliding shutters each of which has four ogee headed panels. The opening is flanked by a wide lining with inward facing consoles to the head and has a moulded cast iron, trumeau-like, column at the centre of the opening. The pine hexagonal pulpit is flanked on both sides by three ogee-headed panels which have tall end-posts with lamp standards. The Communion Rail, of turned balusters, is canted back at 45° to meet these posts. Panelled wainscoting to walls and pitch pine benches. Single marble memorials to the coursed stucco side walls. Small wood panelled internal porch with 4-panel doors both sides. Plaster cornice to ceiling and large ornate ceiling rose. An intact and pleasing example of a small chapel of the date.
