ACTON C.P. CHESTER ROAD SJ 65 SW 4/2 Star Cottages
GV II
Pair of cottages, early C19. Red brick with tiled roof. Single storey and attic, one bay each. 5-panel doors, with oval glazed upper panel, in small, single storey, gabled, flanking porches with Tudor arches and barge boards. 3-light flush casements, with glazing bars, to ground floor, similar 2-light casements in gabled half dormers at first floor level. The dormers have plastered cheeks and apex panels. The cottages have a full length rear lean-to, a single gabled half dormer at the party wall and a single central stack.
