ACTON C.P. DORFOLD PARK SJ 65 SW 4/15 Farm building north-west - of Dorfold Dairy House GV II
Formerly shippon with loft, now used mainly for storage, late C18. Red brick in Flemish Bond with old slate roof laid in diminishing courses. 3 storeys, 4 bays. A three-storey-high carriageway opening south-west has an opening opposite in the rear (north) wall. Full height boarded doors at ground floor and first floor levels. Second floor level pitch-holes with rebated openings, stone sills, stone hinge and latch blocks and segmental arches. Breather holes in brick walls in cross and diamond arrangements. Saw-tooth course at eaves. Interior: Full length beam, joisted and boarded first floor. Queen Post Trusses.
