HENHULL C.P. SHROPSHIRE UNION CANAL SJ 65 SW MAIN LINE 4/69 Lock gate north side of - Nantwich Junction Bridge GV II
Single lock gate, circa 1826. Gate and beam of wood. When closed, the gate fits into a recess in the stone edging to the tow path of Bridge No.92. The gate is for canal drainage purposes and separates Nantwich Aqueduct from Nantwich Basin End and the northern section of the canal.
