Cottage, probably mid C17 recased in brown brick for Rowland Egerton Warburton later C19. 1 storey plus attic; 1 window. Framed and boarded door on ornate Arley estate hinges; 6-pane casement to lower storey; gabled dormer with 3-light brick-mullioned casement; dormer gable with projecting brick diapering and lozenge-shaped plastered panels, suggesting John Douglas as architect. Brick plinthed gable chimney with 3 separated diagonal flues. Small rear wing of oak, small-framing on high brown brick plinth containing cellar window. Interior not inspected.
