House: C17 or earlier, extensively rebuilt in late C20 by James Brotherhood copying its C19 appearance externally. Washed English garden wall bond brick. Thatched roof and 1 ridge and 1 gable brick chimney. Lobby-entry plan. 1-storey and attic, 4-bay west front. Windows are late C20 3-light wooden mullioned windows with applied diamond leaded glazing. The 2nd bay has a similar window in a gabled dormer. Added late C20 gabled porch and continuous outshut to rear with stone slate roof. Interior: contains a full cruck framed truss with tiebeam and collar and framed infill. The original wind braced purlins survive. The former hall is now open to the roof and is overlooked by a gallery.
