2/12 Engine sheaf and Pump House at Lion Salt Works

Engine shed and pump house, circa 1900, brick and timber. Simple building, with square brick chimney, contains steam engine for beam pump which raised brine. Of historic interest as part of the only remaining inland open-pan saltworks in England.
