Lodge. C1870. Red sandstone ashlar with a slate roof. Two storeys, hexagonal plan with gable to each front. Western front: 3-light window with mullions and a transom and cusped heads to each light with a Tudor hood mould. Hexagon to gable which has decorated bargeboards and bargepost (all fronts have these features). The front to left of this has a 3-light similar window and at right is a 3-light similar window with a plank door at centre with bronze lion-mask doorknocker similar to that at Gloucester Cathedral. Central hexagonal chimneystack.
