Description
SJ 69 SE CROFT WARRINGTON ROAD- Risley 4/13 Barn at Hope Farmhouse (to south-west) GV II
Barn late C17 brown brick with stone slate roof, 3 bays with added bay south, part 2 storey but centre section open to the roof. Old stone north gable steps give access to first floor storage area. Ledged, battended and braced replacement doors in heavy timber frames. Timber eaves gutter. Internally old stone slab floor, low pitched oak strutted trusses, single line of purlins and ridgetree.
