5150 SANKEYSTREET (North Side) SJ 6088 1/114 Lamps on East and West drives of Town Hall GV II* Built 1750 by Gibbs, formerly Bank Hall, seat of Patten family. Pevsner opinion "finest house of its date in South Lancashire". Palladian, 3 storeys, rusticated stone facing to red brick, hipped slate roof, brick parapet, stone modillioned cornice. Main front has slight central projection with 4 3/4 Corinthian columns Listing NGR: SJ6018488207
