Description
SJ 68 NE LYMM C.P. HIGHER LANE (north side)
2/56 Well in yard at rear of Wildersmoor
GV II
Well, probably before 1700, stone-lined. Circular well of approximately 1.5 metres diameter with stone parapet to smaller circular opening. Listed because its stone construction in an area of generally brick-lined wells suggests greater than usual age. The house (Wildersmoor) now altered and divided into 2 dwellings, is not included in the item.
