Farmhouse, probably mid C17, altered. Oak small-frame largely replaced by C18 and C19 brickwork; some patches of C17 sandstone. Stone-slate roof, partly replaced at rear with grey slates. Longitudinal ridge chimney opposite door; flush gable chimney left. One storey with attic bedrooms. 3 rooms - the right and mid rooms are C17, the left room a C18 addition in brick. Door under C19 gabled porch on brackets, and kitchen door under camber arch to left, both boarded. One oak-framed dormer. Replaced 6-pane wood windows, in keeping. Full-length oak framed outshut at rear. Interior: Lobby entrance with stone baffle. Central room has inglenook with oak bressumer and ovolo ceiling beam. Right room (probably formerly with inglenook) has rougher chamfered beams of oak, as has left room. Much oak framing is visible internally downstairs and in bedrooms.
