Hearse-house now sub-station circa 1833. Red sandstone with later blue quarry tile roof. Rectangular single storey building with wide door opening which has semi-circular arch with keystone and springing blocks. Pulvinated string course and moulded eaves cornice. Small vents with semi-circular heads and keystones to west side and rear. Used to house the horse-drawn hearse in the days when the parish church carried out their own funeral arrangements.
