Description

SJ 58 SE 6/57 NORTON NORTON LANE Norton Lodge 23.4.70 II House late C18 or early C19 in appearance, but early C18 in origin brown brick with slate roof 2 storeys 3 bays stone plinth. Timber doorcase with rectangular fanlight, pulvinated frieze and pediment containing six panelled door. Recessed sash windows with glazing bars stone sills and flat arches to ground floor windows. The west elevation has casements with turning pieces and cambered arches, Interior: Staircase with cut and shaped bracketed string, ramped handrail and curtail. Six panel doors.
